Help!!

I have an idea for an “Abalone Photo & Recipe” photo booklet as a fund raiser for Cen Cal, SCAN and RFA. The booklet / magazine will be offered for sale online and at upcoming dive /fishing fundraising events. A portion of the sales price will be donated to Cen Cal, SCAN and RFA. Price of the booklet is unknown at this time, but will be determined in part by the size and cost of the final product.

I’m still fleshing this out and I’d like some input / ideas from you all.

What I need is:

1- Photos of ab and divers in the water, diver on the beach with ab.

2- Photos of ab cleaning, prep and cooking (preferably on the beach / in campgrounds).

3- Photos of ab shells cleaned, ab pearls, ab jewelry etc.(only sport caught and not professionally prepared).

4- Tips and “steps to” cleaning ab for cooking.

5- Tips and recipes for cooking ab. Any “good” abalone stories are welcome… stories, tales, news, etc. -Good being in the opinion of the editorial staff, me!

1- Any other sport related items, ideas, etc?(Don’t send fish only photos. Fish with abalone is okay if abalone is primary focus of photo. This is about abalone.

I will collect and sort through everything and if your item is used send you a release to sign and I must have a release for every identifiable person in your photo(s) in order to use it / them.

You will be credited for your submission and a copy of the final product will be sent to you as “total compensation” for your donated submission(s).

I would like to try and get this out by opening weekend of ab season this year, April 3, 2010.

If I can’t make that deadline, I’ll have them by the Big Ab/ Big Ling event on May 1, 2010.

To do that I need your quick response!
